A note about my upcycling habits

I enjoy using upcycled and repurposed items in my arts and crafts for several reasons. One - I think it's really neat to take something and make it do something other than it's intended purpose. That's the rebel in me I suppose. I like keeping stuff out of landfills as long as possible, letting it complete it's mission in life, that kind of thing.

I get lots of stuff for free or cheap from local pages and thrift stores. I don't do a lot of buying brand new in the box stuff if I can help it and this extends to packaging. Which leads to B - your package may (probably will) come wrapped in a previously used envelope or box, with internal packaging from the same!

Because of people giving me stuff and keeping good packaging when I get it, I haven't purchased a single piece of packing or mailing material in the 2 years that I have been selling. It's all reused, recycled or gifted from someone cleaning out or overstocked.
